En la era del on demand, de los streamings y los podcast, de la radio pero no de la televisión, cobra mayor interés esta ceremonia.
La Academia de Artes y Ciencias de la Televisión (ATAS) anunció la 76.ª edición del prestigioso evento que se llevará a cabo el domingo 15 de septiembre en el LA Live Peacock Theatre del centro de Los Ángeles.
Algunos recordarán que en enero ya tuvimos unos Emmy, pero fueron los del 2023 (las huelgas de Hollywood obligaron a posponer dicha premiación).
A simple vista podemos ver que las dos series más nominadas fueron el drama japonés Shogun y la serie gastronómica El oso (The Bear).
Fueron aproximadamente 24.000 miembros de la Academia de Televisión quienes seleccionaron a los nominados de un total de 229 series, una cifra significativamente menor en comparación con las 309 del año pasado.
